Twitter’s bird logo as we knew it has been replaced. Twitter CEO Elon Musk has officially rebranded the company as “X”. The new X logo has replaced the bird logo on the app and s also feature on the walls of the company HQ.

Musk announced that the newly rebranded app will focus on audio, video, messaging, payments/banking, creating a global marketplace for ideas, goods, services, and opportunities. Empowered by AI, X aims to connect people in innovative ways that we are only starting to envision.

The renaming could be seen as something of a brand overhaul, or a ‘Hail Mary’ for the company as Musk, in recent months has repeatedly expressed that Twitter, facing heavy losses in ad revenue was on the verge of bankruptcy.

Although, Musk has also mentioned in the past that he has wanted to develop an ‘everything app’ which is akin to Chinese super apps that integrate social media, financial transactions, online shopping, and more.

OpenAI announced the launch of the ChatGPT Android App, which is currently available for pre-order in the Google Play Store.

The app allows users to access the language model directly from their Android devices.

Some of the key features:

  • Complete various tasks such as drafting emails, writing code, etc
