This cutting-edge device is slated for deployment in various artificial intelligence (AI) applications; however, its immense processing power also positions it as suitable for handling resource-intensive high-performance computing (HPC) tasks. Remarkably, the forthcoming supercomputer, based on Nvidia H100 technology, is slated to become one of the globe's most potent computing systems.

At the heart of Tesla's novel computing cluster lies a staggering assembly of 10,000 Nvidia H100 compute GPUs. This configuration will deliver a peak performance of 340 FP64 PFLOPS tailored for intricate technical computations, while also boasting a staggering 39.58 INT8 ExaFLOPS capacity geared towards AI functionalities. Notably, Tesla's impressive 340 FP64 PFLOPS outperforms the 304 FP64 PFLOPS capability of Leonardo, currently ranked as the world's fourth most formidable supercomputer.

This state-of-the-art supercomputer is set to revolutionize Tesla's computational capabilities, dramatically expediting the training of its full self-driving (FSD) technology.

Alibaba, the prominent Chinese technology titan, introduced a pair of novel open-source AI models on Friday, signifying a significant stride forward for China's technology sector. These advancements include heightened image comprehension capabilities and more intricate conversational abilities, marking a noteworthy accomplishment for the country's technological landscape.

The recent unveilings encompass Qwen-VL and Qwen-VL Chat, both categorized as 'vision language' models, diverging from text-based systems such as ChatGPT and Bard.
