🍾 Coca-Cola’s new AI-generated flavour

Coca-Cola has introduced a new limited-edition beverage called Coca-Cola Y3000, which aims to evoke the taste of the future. In an effort to keep younger consumers engaged with the brand, Coca-Cola has been experimenting with mystery flavors and concepts.

For Y3000, the company employed artificial intelligence (AI) to determine both the flavor and packaging design. The AI was used to analyze human insights regarding what flavors people associate with the future, and it helped in creating flavor profiles and pairings.

The packaging, with a Y2K-inspired aesthetic, was also developed using AI-generated images. Coca-Cola Y3000 is designed to taste mostly like regular Coke but with an additional, undisclosed note of flavor. It comes in both zero and full-sugar varieties and is available for a limited time.
